About foundation

At SAKI, we are a community-based non-governmental organization (NGO)

At SAKI, we are a community-based non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to advancing menstrual health, menstrual hygiene, and gender equity across Kenya.

Through sustainable, community-driven solutions, we improve access to menstrual products, deliver comprehensive menstrual health education, and champion policies that create lasting change. We work alongside schools, communities, partners, and policymakers to break menstrual stigma, end period poverty, and foster environments where girls can thrive with dignity and confidence.

Our mission is to empower vulnerable adolescent girls with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to navigate puberty, stay in school, and reach their full potential. By driving menstrual health awareness, promoting menstrual hygiene management, and advocating for menstrual equity, we’re building a future where every girl has the opportunity to learn, lead and succeed.

Mission

To advance menstrual health and hygiene equity

To advance menstrual health and hygiene equity through sustainable solutions, comprehensive education, and advocacy. We strive to ensure equitable access to education, promote climate action, and empower vulnerable adolescent girls to break barriers, overcome period poverty and achieve their full potential.

Vision

A world where menstrual products are freely accessible

A world where menstrual products are freely accessible to all, and every conversation about menstrual health is open, informed and stigma-free.
Our Impact

Through our community initiatives

We have supported +8500 girls in their education journey by providing them with a year’s supply of menstrual pads, enabling them to stay in school and reach for their dreams.  In addition to our programs we continually check on their well-being every year, ensuring their holistic development.

Recognizing the importance of sustainable solutions, we have equipped 600 girls with reusable menstrual products. While celebrating this progress, we remain committed to expanding our reach and driving our impact further .
